ICT in education




Information and communication technology (ICT) will complement, enrich and remodel education for the higher.

As the lead global organization Organization for education, UNESCO guides international efforts to assist countries perceive the role such technology will play to accelerate progress toward property Development Goal four (link is external) (SDG4), a vision captured within the Qingdao Declaration.

UNESCO shares data concerning the numerous ways in which technology will facilitate universal access to education, bridge learning divides, support the event of academics, enhance the standard and connexion of learning, strengthen inclusion, and improve education administration and governance.

The Organization scans the globe for proof of made ICT in education practices – whether or not in low-resource primary colleges, universities in high-income countries, or line of work centres – to formulate policy steering.

Through capacity-building activities, technical recommendation, publications, fieldworks, and international conferences like International Conferences on ICT and Post-2015 Education and Mobile Learning Week, and munition, UNESCO helps governments and alternative stakeholders leverage technology for learning.
